1. Open Outlook Express.

2. From the Tools menu, choose Accounts.
Note : If you have never configured, or used, your Outlook Express email program, at this point the Internet Connection Wizard will open automatically. In such a situation, go directly to step 5.

3. Click the Add button and choose Mail.

4. In the Display name field, type your full name.
5. Click the Next button.

6. In the E-mail address field, type your full email address (e.g., jdoe@netaxcess.com).
7. Click the Next button.

8. Click the down arrow on the My incoming mail is a ____ server drop-down list and choose POP3.
9. In the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server field, type mail.netaxcess.com.
10. In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server field, type smtp.netaxcess.com.
Note : If you connect to our service via Dial-Up and host your email server with Axcess, then substitute the mail.netaxcess.com and smtp.netaxcess.com for your Mail Server addresses, (e.g. mail.yourdomain.com and smtp.yourdomain.com).
Note : If you are not connected through our service, but host your mail servers with us, then you will need to setup a Mail Relay. For more information please contact us.
11. Click the Next button.

12. In the Account name field, type your full email address (e.g., jdoe@netaxcess.com).
13. In the Password field, type your email password.
Note : Remember, your password is case sensitive. (Make sure your CAPS LOCK button is off!)
14. Check the box next to Remember password if you wish to save your password.
15. Click the Next button.

16. Click the Finish button.

17. Click the Properties button.

18. Click on the Servers tab.
19. Check the box next to My server requires authentication.
20. Click the Settings button.

21. Select Log on using.
22. In the Account name field, type your entire Axcess email address.
23. In the Password field, type your password.
Note : Remember, your password is case sensitive. (Make sure your CAPS LOCK button is off!)
Note : If you are setting up an additional mailbox, you must use the Primary Account holders username/password for SMTP Authentication.
24. Check the box next to Remember password if you wish to save your password.
25. Click the OK button.

26. Click the OK button.

27. Click the Close button.

28. Close Outlook Express.
Congratulations! You have successfully set up Outlook Express 5.0-6.0 to send and receive email.
